The "SR20DET 2.2L Kit" is a 2.2L version of the SR20DET, which is widely used as a tuning base. It pursues the low and mid-range torque needed for street and drifting, as well as the high output and low friction essential for drag racing.
This kit was tested repeatedly on an HKS Hyper Silvia at D1GP, and is designed to be strong and lightweight while also taking into consideration the overall balance.
